Athyrium Ghost is a unique hybrid fern that is a cross between a painted fern and the traditional lady fern. The deciduous silvery white leaves darken to a silver green as the plant matures and grows from dark purple stems. An easy to grow and low maintenance variety, these wonderful ferns will add character to patio containers and the garden borders where they will thrive in all areas of the garden from direct sun to even the most shaded spots. A holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit for its reliability, this is a great addition to any summer garden. Height 80cm. 9cm pot plants supplied.

From late autumn protect the crown with a dry mulch e.g.. Straw. Make sure the soil is kept moist and not allowed to dry out during hot periods.One of the most popular of all the ferns, Athyrium are perfect for pots, container or in borders.
