Product Description
Hailed by nutritionists as a so-called ‘super food’, the humble blueberry has enjoyed a surge in popularity in recent years, and it isn’t difficult to see why. Not only are blueberries celebrated for their high levels of vitamin C and antioxidants, but they also taste delicious when cooked into jams and desserts, and are highly rewarding to grow as a potted shrub. The versatile and compact Blueberry (Early Fruiting Spartan) is one of the most popular early fruiting blueberry varieties, producing white flowers during spring which develop slowly into fruits come summer before its foliage finally turns reddish-green as autumn approaches. One of our best-selling varieties, the Blueberry (Early Fruiting Spartan) is loved for its large, intensely flavoured fruits which are produced as early in the season as July. 9cm pot plants supplied.
