Tell Me More…
Osteospermum ‘Sennen Sunrise’ is an incredibly versatile, evergreen perennial. Foliage is glossy, mat-forming foliage and densely packed. It becomes covered by a profusion of bright pink blushed, daisy-like blooms from May to September; and often longer. At the centre of each flower there is a glowing, golden orange, pollen-rich centre which contrasts spectacularly with the cooler hues of the petals. Blooms create wonderfully colourful groundcover and help to prevent those pesky weeks from coming through. Drought tolerant, Osteospermum ‘Sennen Sunrise’ is perfect for the front of your borders or patio containers. Plant in well-drained soil which benefits from full sun or partial shade. Matures to a height and spread of 20-30cm. A half-hardy perennial which needs additional protection if temperatures drop below -5°C. Alternatively, plant in containers which can easily and safely be moved into a greenhouse or conservatory over the colder months.
