Description of each Plant you will Receive
- x Buxus Semperiverns – A dense evergreen shrub that is quite slow growing yet very long lived. Its purpose is primarily for hedging and topiary. However, it has all the characteristics of a superb border shrub too. The dark green foliage is thick and present year round
- 1x Cornus sanguinea – an upright, deciduous shrub with green leaves turning deep-red in autumn. Its young shoots are reddish in winter. Small white flowers form in summer followed by black berries in autumn.
Cornus sanguinea
- 1x Cotoneaster Decorus – superb low growing, evergreen shrub, ideal for mass planting or an excellent plant for a low hedge spaced at 600mm centres. Deep green glossy oval leaves and small but prolific white star shaped flowers. Large, freely borne, bright red-orange spherical fruits.
- 1x Cotoneaster lacteus – shallow cup-shaped white flowers grow from early to mid-summer. Long lasting red berries are carried in massive clusters in autumn/winter. An evergreen, arching shrub with oval, dark green leaves, a excellent choice for hedging, space at 600mm centres.
Cotoneaster Decorus
Cotoneaster lacteus
- 1x Cotoneaster lucidus – glossy dark green leaves, up to 5cm long, create a dense wall of foliage for optimum privacy in season and then turn to a brilliant red in autumn. The small pink flowers in spring are followed by showy black fruits which are carried in massive clusters in autumn/winter, attracting birds to your garden.
- 1x Deutzia Lemoinei – an erect, twiggy shrub which bears masses of small, showy white flowers in late May. These are borne on slender stems above lanceolate, mid-green leaves which have sharp margins. It is an average grower which is ideal for a partially shaded site of a small to medium sized garden.
- 1x Photinia Crunchy – exciting new variety of Photinia that is hardy and disease resistant. New leaves start out copper and then develop into a rich chocolatey brown before finally settling into a dark green hue.
