Description
This variety of cistus is great for year round interest as the silvery green leaves hold on the shrub all year round. The leaves are packed on to the shoots in whorls and the tiny silver hairs on them give them a slight shine in the sunlight. In summer, bright magenta coloured flowers appear and these have vibrant yellow centres. This low and spreading shrub is a great choice for planting as attractive groundcover and it also works well in a bed or border.
