A traditional variety, popular for its jewel-like, rich blue flowers with dark hearts above low-growing, ferny foliage. Blue is not the most common colour in the garden, making Anemone coronaria ‘Mr Fokker’ a valuable addition to the spring/early summer scene. Scatter them along border edges and through dry gravel gardens or enjoy them as an early splash of colour in containers. They also make exceptional cut flowers. Height and spread: 20cm-30cm (8-12″).
Growing Information
Prior to planting, anemone bulbs should be soaked in water overnight. Choose a position in full sun on light sandy, well drained soil, and plant them in groups at a depth of 5cm (2″) deep.
