Sowing Information
Fill a seed tray with a good quality moist seed compost. Carefully cut the tip off the plastic phial and tap the seeds out singly, pressing gently into the surface about 12mm ( 1?2″) apart, or 5cm (2″) apart to avoid later transplanting. Place a sheet of glass or polythene over the tray and germinate at 18-20°C (65-68°F). Keep moist and protect from direct sunlight. Germination 15-50 days. As seedlings develop transplant as necessary and grow on. Acclimatise to outside conditions before planting out 20cm (8″) apart.
