The beautiful cultivar dahlia ‘Ball Columbus’ is famous for its perfectly spherical, vivid flowers. The blossoms are a striking accent to any garden because of their deep pink colour with faint violet undertones. As with other ball dahlias, ‘Columbus’ has neatly aligned petals that make a smooth, rounded shape that is eye-catching.
This cultivar can be used as a conspicuous element in mixed flower pots or as a mid-border placement because it grows to a height of about 90–120 cm. It grows best in well-drained, fertile soil and likes full sun, which helps to bring out the colour of the blossoms.
