Rich in ornamental qualities, the fuchsia ‘Dollar Princess’ is well-known for its eye-catching double flowers with their vivid red sepals and dramatic purple petals. This plant is especially well-suited for hanging baskets and containers because of its cascading growth, which allows its stunning blossoms to hang freely and produce a visual extravaganza from early summer until the first frosts.
‘Dollar Princess’ thrives in light to full shade and likes a cold, damp, well-drained soil. During the flowering season, a monthly feeding with a high-potash liquid fertiliser will encourage vivid blooms and robust development. It is imperative to keep the soil continuously moist but not soggy. Deadheading wasted blooms will prolong the life of the plant and keep it looking neat.
