Sowing Information
Sow your seeds in individual cell trays using good quality compost. Cover seeds with 6mm (1?4″) sieved compost and leave on a windowsill or in glasshouse to germinate. Grow on and plant out in rows 6 – 8 weeks after sowing. Place plants 10cm (4″) apart in the row and 38cm (15″) between rows. Alternatively, sow seeds thinly April-July in shallow grooves 38cm (15″) apart. Thin seedlings out to 10cm (4″) apart in each row. Harvest June-September.
