Sweet Pea Three Times as Sweet
This world exclusive is brand new for 2021 and has come straight from breeding by Charles Valin! This magical Sweet Pea is the very first cultivated, modern grandiflora tri-colour stripe variety available. It has been bred from Lathyrus odoratus x Lathyrus belinensis cross and thus Lathyrus x hammettii hybrid.
The marble effect blooms combine lavender-blue, burgundy and white tones together to form a beautiful and striking flower display where ever it grows. As well as being beautiful and unique, this variety provides a distinctive fragrance that is exclusive Sweet Peas – just wonderful for sweetly-scented cut flowers to enjoy indoors.
You can grow this climbing annual up a trellis or over an obelisk for a spectacular display in time for summer. Height: 1.8m (6’). Spread: 30cm (12”).
Growing Information
Pot up and grow sweet pea plants on in cool, bright conditions until large enough to transplant outdoors. Pinch out the growing tips of sweet pea plants while they are still small, to encourage bushy growth. When plants are well grown transplant them outdoors into any fertile, well drained garden soil in full sun or semi-shade.
