Our own unique blend of the most strongly scented varieties, tested over a number of years at our trials ground. It includes all the sweet pea colours and bi-colours, with large flowers and long stems. A must for cutting! Height 1.8m (6′). Scent 3. HA – Hardy annual.
Sowing Information
For early flowering sow 3 seeds 13mm (5″) deep per 10cm (4) pot in a greenhouse or indoors at approximately 13-15°C (55-60°F). Germination 10- 21 days. Acclimatise the plants to outside conditions and plant out in April- May with spacing of 15-23cm (6-9) per plant. Alternatively, sow direct into finely raked, moist, warm, weed-free soil where the plants are to flower 13mm (5) deep, in late April-May. Thin seedlings to achieve a final spacing of 15- 23cm (6-9) per plant. Remove the growing tips after 3-4 pairs of leaves have developed to promote more flowers and a bushier plant. May also be sown in September-October in a cold frame/unheated greenhouse to overwinter. Plant out young plants in March-April to provide earliest blooms.
