Tell Me More…
With its large, dazzling cerise flowers, Aubrieta gracilis ‘Florado Neon Pink’ offers a fresh take on the rock plant popular for its easy nature and bright, spring colour. As well as multiple colour options, the ‘Florado’ range has been bred for an especially early flowering period, often coming into bloom several weeks before other varieties. Aubrieta is a hardy, evergreen perennial which quickly forms a neat, dense, ground-hugging mat, usually seen cascading over walls, spreading over rock gardens, or spilling over the edges of containers. Throughout spring, a dense profusion of brightly coloured flowers gives it a starring role in the garden. Plant in a sunny spot in moist yet well-draining, neutral to alkaline soil. Aubrieta does not like to sit damp, so add extra drainage if necessary. Give a light trim each year after flowering, to maintain a neat, dense cushion and prevent the middle from becoming bare and woody. H: 10cm S: 60cm. Hardy to between -15 C and -20 C.
