Blooms offer heady notes of jasmine and orange blossom as well as visually romantic and classical appeal. Ideal for focal containers and as cut stems in a vase, plants are also perfect in the border, especially near a path or seating area, for maximum impact.Your collection comprises ‘Petite Perfume Pink’ with a compact habit and the pinkest of dainty blooms – H: 1.5m S: 2m; AGM holder, ‘Belle Etoile’ with white blooms up to 5cm wide, tinged with a hint of purple to their centre – H: 1.5m S: 2.5m; and ‘Pearls of Perfume’ the first philadelphus to flower on both current and previous season’s growth for more blooms and perfume -H: 1.2m S: 60cm.The ‘Spectacularly Scented Philadelphus Collection’ prefers to be planted in moist, well-drained soil of any kind in a position with full sun or partial shade. ‘Pearls of Perfume is fully hardy, whilst the others are hardy (H6). All three are herbaceous shrubs.
