This super sweet sweetcorn variety produces well-filled cobs with an excellent flavour. Their vigorous growth makes them ideal for the UK climate and they harvest from August-September. There’s nothing better than sitting down to a homegrown corn on the cob, with butter slowly oozing over those golden kernels.
Growing Information
Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or one seed per 5cm pot in a greenhouse at approximately 18-21 degrees using a good quality compost. Cover seeds with 2.5cm of compost (germination 10-12 days). Grow on carefully planting out when the risk of frost has passed, allowing 40cm between plants each way in a block pattern to aid pollination. Can also be sown directly outside, 2 seeds per station, thinning to the strongest seedling.
