White, yellow, red crimson and blue shades. Very hardy. Large flowers. Sensational spring colour. Large single flowers in clustered heads, on long, firm stems. HP – Hardy perennial. Height 20cm (8″).
Sowing Information
Sow in pots or trays using a good quality, finely sieved, moist compost pressing the seed lightly into the compost. Place in a plastic bag, seal, and position in the bottom of a refrigerator for 3-4 weeks to pre-chill. Remove from the bag and re-site in a propagator on a windowsill or in pots or trays in a greenhouse at approx. 15-20°C (60-68°F). Germination in 10-30 days. Transplant seedlings into trays and grow on in good light. Plant out 30cm (12″) apart in a sunny or partially shaded position.
