Juniperus squamata ‘Blue Compact’ has a low, spreading habit that makes excellent ground cover in borders and rockeries or an attractive stand-alone specimen. Its sweeping stems are densely smothered with blue-green needles that provide colour and structure in the garden all year round. Growing Information
Plant Junipers in a sunny or lightly shaded position, in any well drained soil; juniper trees tolerate dry, chalky or sandy soils. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to improve the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply.
