Big, deep red flowers with ruffled petals and striking black centres, held on strong stems with fern-like foliage. Ideal for British summers. Flowers May-June. Height 100-150cm (39-59″). Ideal for back of borders.
Growing Information
When growing Oriental Poppies, choose a sunny position in rich fertile, well drained soil. Add plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply.
