Commonly known as Foxgloves, Digitalis are nostalgic, much-loved woodland plants adored by bees and pollinators. Biennial Digitalis purpurea subsp. heywoodii Silver Fox blooms during the second year of growth before setting seed. Grey-green foliage is covered in a velvety, textured coating and gives way to dramatic spires of clean white flowers with speckled interiors between May and July. Perfect for cutting to add height and elegance to floral arrangements. Digitalis purpurea subsp. heywoodii Silver Fox grows best in humus-rich, moist soil with either full sun or partial shade.
