The Alcea Unusual Collection offers spectacular giant double flowering varieties. More commonly known as Hollyhocks, these beautiful flowers bloom in July through to August. The showy display will create a feature within borders to establish a traditional cottage garden theme and attract pollinators such as butterflies and bees into the area. The collection contains one each of Bridal Bouquet, Creme de Cassis and Peaches N Dreams.

Growing at a glance…
Water Alcea freely during the growing season and deadhead as necessary to help prolong growth. They are suitable for planting in all types of well drained garden soil, and work best once planted in a sunny or lightly shaded location. To plant loose roots, soak them in a bucket of water for 1-3 hours before planting, then dig a hole in the border that’s big enough to house the root system. Firm in gently and water well.
