Tell Me More…
Exciting new ensemble packed with colourful, daisy-like blooms which burst forth from May to October on shorter than average stems and reach only 30-40cm tall. This means our Compact Osteospermum ecklonis Collection will not overpower smaller patios, courtyards and balconies and will, size wise, be ‘just right’ – even for a decorative window box. Rest assured, plants will still produce masses of blooms from late May to October – spreading radiance and charm planted together for a kaleidoscope of colour, or separately for a more formal look. Their upright growth habit means that blooms can also be cut for a vase or bouquet. Your Compact Osteospermum ecklonis Collection comprises ‘Dalina Orange Brique’ with orange copper tones (H&S: 30cm); ‘Dalina Compact White Pink Blush’ with flowers which have a darker pink ‘blushed’ edge (H&S: 30cm); and ‘Dalina Compact Purple’ with reddish purple blooms in varying shades dependent upon maturity (H&S: 30cm). Half-hardy, semi-evergreen perennials. All prefer well-drained soil of any kind except heavy clay. Position in full sun and protect from frost, depending upon where you garden in the UK.
