This lovely Knautia blend, also known as Macedonian Scabious, bears fantastic pincushion flowers on skinny, airy stems. The hardy perennial is typically found in cottage gardens, where its swinging stems create a relaxed display. Plant it in wildlife areas where pollinating insects will appreciate the nectar-rich blooms. It blooms from July to October and is well known for its gentle shades of pink, rose, and crimson. Growing Information
Grow Knautia in borders in full sun. Field scabious prefers a well-drained, alkaline or neutral soil and is particularly suitable for chalky garden soils.
